Well, by the time we get to this, Santa Claus will have already come to
town. So, now it's David Lane's turn.

Every January, David comes out to San Francisco to audition budding
musicians for the Peabody School of Music (Baltimore, MD) where he is the
Director of Admissions (as I recall). This January, David will arrive in
town on Thursday the 12th, and depart early Sunday the 15th. We're
tentatively planning a get-together for Friday night the 13th. Put it in
your calendar.

The venue is likely to be Pedro's in Santa Clara, which is immediately off
101. This location is (very) tentative. Locale will much depend on the
where attendees live. We could also do Izzy's in San Carlos.

If you are interested in a gathering of rotorheads in the dark days of
January, please reply to me. Let me know how many would be attending, and
whether you prefer the Santa Clara or the San Carlos location. We will
confirm all a week or two before the gathering. This is to get a sense of
participation.
