Bleh I can't really go out drinking since I'm only 18 :'(
Mark-We should just drive faster then :P I get about the same gas mileage @ 90-110mph as I do at 70-80 mph....I get about 15 mpg on the highway so every 200 miles I need to stop :P I should have some more comfortable seats by then too...my damn neck was killing me after that drive so I didn't get to stay up in teh parking lot and get drunk with all the cool kids

They need to hurry up and post the Group rate for sure so I can get a room..this time I won't be on such a tight schedule so I'll stay for the fancy dinner and all that jazz

Woot! I'm in. I'm pretty sure if I stay in my timeline I will be ready. This will be the second time I drive up from san diego for an event.

Now I just have to make sure I don't get deployed.

 

I'm all for an early morning departure. And I would say that 80-90mph average will be just fine.

Mark, since you seem to be in the loop do let us all know when the announce the group rate hotel please.

I reserved three rooms at the Hilton yesterday under my Corp rate, but if the seven stock rate (usually $20 cheaper) comes through then we can get the seven stock rates and I'll just give up the corp rate ones...

I just didn't want to be without a room and I figured I can give my other reservations away to whoever needs them.

 

how much are the rooms mark? how many ngiht did you reserve them for? just friday night? friday and saturday?

 

Friday and Sat.

My Corp rate is $92 a night, but like I said, if it turns out to be cheaper for the Sevenstock rate, then I'll just call and cancel them, and get a couple at the seven stock rate.

do the rooms come with Paris spread out all over the walls this time? not that i'd hit that rank **** but i could pimp her out.

whorebag!! if i wasnt trying to get my company goin i could build a turbo motor in august...but as it sits just gettin my full exhaust and maybe some coilovers and pour the rest into new comp and some production for the company this is lame...toms gettin his turbo supra (89) tomarrow maybe...you're goin turbo before SS...im gonna be the last one to get forced induction oh well i can spend the time becoming a better driver and make you cry when you get spanked by a NA :P

 

awww, i think im goin to miss the nor-cal 7 caravan down to SS9, Im moving down to Pomona during september for school. Well i guess im goin to see all of you guys down at irvine at SS9.

Please take note of the NEW location, btw thanks Ice for the mapquesting. Also we are in the process fo negotiating a group rate with different hotels, something closer to the new venue and we will have it up at sevenstock.org as soon as it's confirmed.

In addition, and as usual, we will NOT be allowing non-rotary powered vehicles in the show lot .

An auto-x would be *excellent*. Anyone have experience organizing and implementing one? Where would we get all the cones + timing and scoring from?
