The FD is for sure going. The only unknown is if my FC will be there or not. That's why I said we'll either take only the FD or both the FD and the FC.

yep, right across from it, and about 3 miles from Mazda R&D. I'll have to see how close it is to the Mazda NA building.

I always stay there or at the Embassy suites when I am there, but the Embassy is considerably more expensive.

The SS dinner is normally at the Hilton (so you can have dinner and party all there and just walk up to your room).

Well, as soon as I hear about the group rate being concrete I'll go ahead and make reservations.

And Wacky, Karack is right. We have spent the last 2 weeks up here at over 100 degrees! This isn't the bay you know! And I can't wear sandals with my uniform so it's hot in my FC with no air conditioning.

Yeah, the dinner was pretty boring last year. But the year before that was pretty cool with that Japanese tour group and all the old time Japanese racers.

Well last time, I started the late caravan (we left around noon) with Nader, but Nick had to stop for gas every 120 miles or so and we stopped with Carl for a while (he popped a heater line) any way it took about 11 hours... Too long.

Yeah 6 and a half is about right. I have done it in 5.

Last years location:

This year's location:

The dinner and Hotel may be different this year though because it is a little further away. I am sure they will let us know where the group rate will be and dinner will be.
