SevenStock Main Show/Display Parking

Guys,
This year will need to enforce and truly emphasize our NO VEHICLES MOVING IN SHOW AREA UNTIL 2:00PM rule. This is a critical INSURANCE issue that is significant to the continuation of SevenStock. The last few years, some guys have thought it funny or cute to come in and “sneak out” knowing the rules, and this has affected our insurance waiver. If we do not enforce this rule this year... that may be it for SevenStock as we know it.

SO PLEASE!!! IF YOU CAN NOT STAY UNTIL 2:00PM, DO NOT PARK IN THE MAIN SHOW AREA!

Again, there will be NO MOVING OF VEHICLES IN THE SHOW AREA/LOT UNTIL 2:00PM. When you go to pre-stage, one of the SS volunteers will ask you if you can stay unitl 2pm. If you can, then you will be sent to pre-stage, if you cannot, then you will be directed to a general parking area where you may leave at anytime you wish.

Your understanding and cooperation is appreciated and necessary to continue SevenStock into future.

Thank you so much!

SS Organizers!

If you mean the main/showcase area, then SHOW UP EARLY to the staging area and have a super clean ride! That is all!

I think noon is more reasonable... The majority of us show up between 5-6 am and we see all there is to see EASILY by 9-10am and then there is nothing to do afterwards. We need more vendors or something. 7 hours at a car show is a long time especially one with no entertainment or anything. I know others out there are thinking the same thing...

Every Sevenstock I've been at has featured either tech discussions or Mazda racing history discussions, in recent years they have been indoors (read: Air Conditioning and shade). Staying past 2pm has never felt like a chore IMHO.

understood, but there are too many folks still on the ground walking around enjoying the show and talking to owners. No one has to show at 5-6am if they choose not to... the gates open at 9am. Of course one may not get in to the show area, but that is a choice, as is staying until 2pm. There are other shows out there that make people stay til 3pm... again this is all insurance type issues.

I find that even one day is not enough to see or speak to all of the RE vendors and participants there. The show has sooo many cool people, great cars, and stuff to see, that I'm not sure how you do anything in 2 hours. If you feel this way, I would definitely not park in the main show area. Join the raffle and enjoy that part of the festivities!!

Thanks for the input.

Thanks DD... the boys put a lot of work into this deal every year, and like you say... keeping it FREE for all these years has been a chore, but we feel important for all to enjoy! I hope to see you at there bro!

Absolutely... heck, you can spend a good 2 or 3 hours just staring at my engine compartment, trying to figure out what in God's name possessed me to do that like that...

I know I do, sometimes.

My only problem really is the heat. I am white (really white, not albino but white) and blonde hair with blue eyes and my body doesn't take heat very well. I will be prepared this year with a straw hat and a cooler filled with vitamin waters. I love the show but previous years I failed to plan ahead and didn't bring my straw hat or a cooler. I will be ready this year you can count on that.

Great planning and attitude here! Remember that the shade trees are also your friend!! We are trying to have a cooling station or two out there this year also.

Weather forecast (for what it's worth) for Saturday the 18th in Irvine is calling for 69* and partly cloudy, so you're probably safe.

I just finished last night making a beach umbrella holder for my folding chair, in preparation for JCCS and SSXIII. Come hang out if you have an emergency shade requirement.

DivinDriver, I hope your car is nearly finished with detailing in time for JCCS and Sevenstock so you don't have to hit the ER again this year!
