I was not planning too, but if you need something let me know.

I will be providing a FC wiper switch and Headlight switch at the auction and a true HID lighting kit (with the winner's choice in bulbs) for giving away at the dinner.

I thought there was talk about the Sacramento guys meeting up at a KFC in Elk Grove. Anyone still doing that, or are we just going straight to the Tracy rest stop meet-up?

I was going to if we had gotten it all together, but I'm just going to just meet up with everyone at the Tracy stop. I'm in Elk Grove BTW.

so looking on mapquest it seems that if we were to hit the rest stop at tracy rob and i would need to take 205 from 580 which is like another 30 miles or so out of our way as far as our directions are and i dont even know where the rest spot is or what the exit is called.....

SO

we wont be joining the caravan, but i hope to see you all there and someone freaking call me friday night so we can all go out and do something

I dont get personal time too often these days

Eh, you don't need a license plate...If you get pulled over you say that you are waiting to get the plates in the mail and when you had the car washed the stupid employees there tossed your ROS (Report of Sale) and you didn't realize til the next day. As long as you have your insurance and your license you will be fine.

So what time for sushi on friday night? I'll need to find a babysitter for kory

Is this the address to the Rotten Robbie Truck stop that is part of the Caravan stops?

12860 State Highway 33, Gustine, CA

If so I will probably meet here and 1030 instead of Tracy at 930. I live in Santa Clara so this is on my path to LA. Is there anyone else going down 101 and 152 from the South Bay?

When we departed from Jack In The Box, the line of sevens was funny as hell.

Good time. Good car ****. Glad I went. Too bad I didn't stay Sat night.

Nice to finally put a couple faces to the names, hahaha. I should go to meets more often.

Quite fun, the drive home was much nicer than the 3 hour wait on the 405 on friday though, lol.

My drive wasn't quite so nice.

I had left Irvine around 11pm and was driving through LA. I was almost in Santa Clarita when a SUV made a lane change to the right (he even signaled ) and his rear passenger tire exploded causing him to make a sharp turn to the right, I went to the left to avoid, and then he overcorrected and snapped back to the left where his front driver tire exploded and he ended up rolling 2 or 3 times. Glass and stuff everywhere. He ended up nose first into the cement center barrier and only had some cuts from the glass on his arms. Luckily no one hit him or the stuff and I avoided him barely 3 feet away from his driver door.
I got out and helped him out after asking if he was alright. Once the cops got there they looked over my car and asked me if something was mine, I said "Is what mine?" There was some canvas handbag type thing sitting on my hood. I didn't even hear it land there.

I was semi tempted to let him hit me and get a new car out of it, but I opted to err on the side that he didn't have insurance.

At least your okay dude.

Nah, it looked more like a small portable tool kit or something than a purse....I might've then.

Besides, I'm using that fork right now.

Half my hood is dented anyways. It was kinda scary going through the pass towards Grapevine though. My temp gauge was in the negative degrees range. I though maybe it was broken or something...turns out it really was that cold.
