and what the heck is in your lighter socket?

 

It's a plastic dust cover that says "DC 12V" on the front. I have the original lighter squirrelled away, but I don't smoke so I saw no sense in leaving it in there.

& according to my wife, the car spends too much time as a "well-built static model," heh.
