Talking seattle to cali move

Hey all just moved back to so cal, from living in the great NW since i was 15. Just have some questions on getting my car switched over to cali.

I have a 1993 FD 500hp single turbo. lots of mods and no emissions left on her.
What can i do if anything to get it cali licensed? Any help would be great..

Oh hey where do u guys meet up in Orange county? let me know...

P.S
I had to switch my drivers license over for work, so cant just say i am on vacation....

Switch back to stock, smog the car and then switch back to your setup. That's the only thing I can think of.

Pretty much. No other (legal) solution, except for moving out to the way-distant boonies.

Everything you wanted to know about California smog, but afraid to ask:

https://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/reg_hdbk/ch10/ch10_7.htm

This link will take you to a map indicating what parts of California is officially considered in the boonies.

Even if you live in the boonies, you still need to smog your out of state car to get a California registration. Just afterward boonie location registered cars only have to do it again when transfering for a sale vs. every other year for registration renewal.

Welcome back to So Cal. I myself did the So Cal to Seattle back to So Cal cycle. GO SEAHAWKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
