Date: Sunday, 1/12/06

Reserve this date and join the San Diego RX Club for its first drive of the year.
We will be heading out to San Diego's east county to cover Old Hwy 80, Hwy 94 and other locations. Possibly check out the Desert Tower and then have a late lunch at Major's Diner in Pine Valley. Be sure to let me know if you may join us for the run sl I can get an idea of how many for lunch.

Some of you cannot get off for a Saturday drive so I have set up this Sunday run. Might even be less traffic. In any event, if should be a good time.

More details at this Saturday's monthly meeting at Fudrucker's in Mira Mesa. Also be ready to talk about:
- Long Beach GP in April
- K1Speed challenge with SoCal
- open track events

I'll have to see if my friend is up for some driving in his new car, if we're not going to the wild animal park. I'd bring the Evo but it needs new tires (already).

Unfortunately his new car is a boinger too.

 

It would be great to get some video of the drive. However, I would suggest that you do not just follow. If you print out a copy of the detailed maps, we can talk before the start and I can give you some locations for good action shots. Much better than shots from pulling up the rear. Also, when we stop for breaks, you can head out early and set up for a drive-by.

C'mon starter, keep working! My starter crapped out on me twice in the past week. Lets hope the brake cleaner and WD40 keep it working untill I can get a new one. (Probably on saturday.)

Can you guys post pone the drive untill my flight to San Diego is allowed to leave Philly? I was supposed to leave this morning but as many of you know, we got 18 inches of snow today

My new flight leaves tomorrow morn.
