San Diego RX Club Monthly Meet
hey I just moved to SD area a couple months ago and just found this thread. Would love to join the meetup. Probably won't be able to make the May event, but should definitely get to the June one.

Maybe by June MY FD will be done too... *crosses fingers*
I just wouldn't feel right showing up to any kind of RX-7 meet in my Sonata....
....even if it IS turbo....and pretty baddass, for a daily driver... :P

these meets are open to all not just rx7's thats the main reason why the meet up and the amount that gather don't show, due to not having a 7 there is down, or in the shop or some thing else...

Yea, most people don't show until at least 11:30; many times a bit later.
Personally, I've been bad about that. Just sort of a natural gravitation
to come a bit later, not wanting to be the first one to show. Just think
of it this way, there is ALWAYS a meet on the FIRST Saturday of the
month in San Diego. If you wait for a bit, someone is always going to
show. If for some reason, there is a slight change, an announcement
is put out.
Typically, there is a unique announcement for each meeting.
As has been said, don't worry if your car is down for a bit, show up
in whatever you can drive. It's about the entire rotary scene and
not just one particular ride. Having said that, we welcome all those
who like performance cars.
As an aside, for those interested, there is a drive coming up the end
of the month - April 30th. See this link / thread for upcoming details.
I will post references to the details this weekend.

past. The next drive is advertised here.
