We still meet every first Saturday of the month down at Liberty Station, off Rosecrans in Point Loma. Start gathering about 11:00 to 11:30 AM. But, our announcements are now primarily moving to our own web site for better coordination of activities and keeping in touch. Go to the following link to get the latest.

Another reminder for the San Diego RX Club monthly meeting this Saturday! Please note, we are doing something special and will not be meeting in Point Loma for December. We are going to Barona Casino for a drive and lunch. Please see the meeting announcement and location information at this link here. It provides all the directions and map information necessary. First pickup is at 10:00 AM.

If you have not done so, please join us on the Meetup site. Go to the first link below my name. This is proving to be an easier way to organize our activities. We have some other activities planned for 2013, such as a visit to the Deer Park Winery and Auto Museum just north of Escondido. We had been there previously and the museum has just reopened this past year.

Cannot really answer your question, per se. In the past people have posted some pics to the link for the specific meeting. That's part of the problem. The pics are buried with the links over the years.

We have two sites with activity pictures. One I have done for some time, but need to get it current. The other is a new one where anyone can post picks. Nothing really organized, just post your pics. The first one I own and can do most anything with it. I really like the editing aspect and prefer to have a bit of control over some of the final product. The second is the newer site for organizing our acticvities. Anyone can post pictures to the album.

Not many people have offered me/us pics to post; we usually have to go searching for / requesting them. I can probably set up the Scenic Drives site with a generic photo album for posting. Also, see the MeetUp site and the photo album tab. Michele and I have posted some pics of meetings and activities. I really like the group shot we did in January 2010 (3yrs, damn!) on the drive to Temecula and the pizza lunch. That was in the parking lot just before we went up that steep , almost single lane, climb.

Let's talk about what you think might work best for peeps. If you come out to Barona we can talk then. Otherwise, we can discuss in January.

You should still sign up on the MeetUp site to keep in touch. Not everything we do is on Saturday. You'll have to let people know what works for you. We all have diferent needs / priorities and days of the week for commitments. We've been having meets since 1998, and even well before, at various places around San Diego.

Watch out for our museum tour coming up in January.

As unlimitedrotations says, the meets are around noon 'til the early afternoon. We've been slipping a bit lately, and have not been making lunch until almost 12:30 PM. We leave a note on the cars as to the restaurant picked for the day.

This brings up another point about this group. People come from all over the place. There's one guy who comes when he is in town, visiting his parents. There is another guy who comes in from Yuma.
