think I am just going to suck up the hike down to point loma every month that I can make it... not that many people come to the karting events plus 50 bucks a month is crazy!! I still have 2 races from last week though, my father in law was to old for the karts so he gave me his last race and we took off

probably won't make to many meets from now on.. I hate my job LOL

karting.. i started going up north to meets b/c i moved further north.. not a very large turn out though

Yo just because you don't make a meet don't make you a bad person...Life goes on, and with gas prices going up there is really no reason to explain yourself...

Anyways that bbq thing is not rocket science so lets not make it more difficult then it really isn't...Down the street along the water in that open grassy area is a park with pits, playground, and plenty of ample room to hold the meet, and bbq..

Mikey and myself thought it would nice to do a bbq since the last one has been for forever and a day...It will be for the oct meet just after seven stock...should be pretty good, recover from the seven stock thing, bbq chill, chat, and relax

 

+1 it just a matter of getting the info out to the people to make couple of different turn on the way to PL B&G in the direction to Crown Point.

 

i didnt know it was rocket science to answer a question about a bbq that obviously hasnt been discussed on the forum. jesus way to blow things out of proportion.

 

I thought the initial talk was having the BBQ in the same general area as the regular meets. Teddy indicated there was a grassy area/park close by. That would certainly make it a lot easier for folks. Only thing to explain is what to bring. It would also make it easier for people who don't follow all these threads, but do know of the date, time and place. Besides, at these things, there is always more than everyone can eat.

Its like 5 steps away...iff your standing in the parking lot just l@@k south its right there "super bright green" that whole thing is a park...follow that along for like 5 seconds and the park paking lot is right there, the park, the bbq pits, and all that good jazz...

 

ah wasn't aware of a new location, I obviously wasn't at the meet, just figured it would be in the norm spot we usually do them, the should change from the San Diego meet to the Mexico meet, you guys like hangin out super south... lol

 

Lol no kidding. The meets are so much further and so out of my way its not worth going for me most of the time as it consumes a substantial part of my day
