For you noobs out there who haven't seen this dudes yellow FC you guys missed out...it was one hella of a clean *** almost stock looking FC with a little broom broom under the hood...

I would rate this FC up there with Tommy Boys Green Duce who car was also clean *** hell...

 

Yea I hear that there is a 'special treat' for us all this year, one of the guys up at the garden grove meets was telling us last month, I don't remember his name but he is one of the guys that does the setup and fronts some personal money to the event, looking forward to seeing it...

yea the child hood FC was nice and all, but the R2 with the lower mileage is just as nice, it will last longer IMO.. I feel you though it was tough today letting that car go, I bet even tougher for her, she said from the begining we should keep the FC and ditch the FD, but again like I said I just can't pass the deal on the FD, I mean 15k for that car is amazing

I don't know about rating it with Tom's Duece, that car was flipping amazing but I appriciate the vote!

I told the kid to bring it up to SS and maybe the meets in Point Loma, he lives in Chula Vista, just 18yrs old and I think his first car, he said he has always wanted a Rx7 since he was like 11 so should be another rotary fan in the making...
I did also tell him that I had thought the car may be a vote in for one of the top 7's at the show, you don't see many S/C'd FC's on the road, and she is pretty damn clean, he is supposed to be coming on the forum, said he has been here b4, so we will see...

I got the whole motor in pieces still as well as the walbro. The only things that were sold were the front strut bar and clutches

I'm staying in San Diego hopefully, we are selling the house but I don't know when since my mom is fighting to keep the house.. Most likely going to be moving into a condo or apartment.

nope. It's drivable but I can't go into reverse without blowing a fuse. I need to set a date where can I spend all day tracking down the short..

I am going to post this to the RX-8 forum site shortly and invite them.

I also checked the place around the sports bar at which we typically meet. About 30 yds south there is an open park area. A bit further south is an even larger open area slightly to the east. However, no tables at either location. It seems the real park area is still fenced off. It has tables, etc. But that location will have to wait.
