Yeah, well, not all of us get all riled up over these types of things......OHHH SNAP!!!! Alright, I want to put one of those cool icons in here like everone else does, but have no idea how. I hate to look like a noob, but someones gotta help me out on this before I have to google it.
I am wondering???? is this thread getting viewed cause Rcarson25 just got around to it. huh............. looks like Saturday seems more desired then any other day. Nice poll thread i must say this is. Kinda give me an opportunity to hear others thought on the subject matter rather then impose my opinion on others. Great Job!!!! after all this is all voluntary.

when your making a post to the right of of the box your typing in you should have like 9 emoticons to chose from and a link for "more" click on more and you will get a pop up window with more emoticons. once you use them often enough you will start to remember the command for each of them and no longer need to look them up.

original intended purpose of this thread was to provide a feed back and hear members opinion on which day is or would be ideal for us members to have our monthly meet. however i feel pretty stupid now when a simple poll of opinion has become a childish platform for those who really are not contribution to the purpose of this poll. How sad, when people who enjoy the same things in life have to be divided and made to feel like outsiders and all. To Jim and anyone who may have been offended or have received hate mail or any other criticism for there thought and request, sorry. People can be so stupid some times. lets grow the **** up.looking forward to the next meeting.
+1 on what SD93FD3S said just in kinder words...this poll was to get some feed like he mentioned above not to divide the group...but seeing how it is, a majority of the cats are young and still wet behind the ears...

^ Exactly. Maybe what Jim suggested didn't fly with everybody, but that IS NO reason to verbally assault him. Last meet was my first here in SD, and Jim was one of the first people to say and talk to me. He's done nothing to deserve this.
Jim is a great guy. I think the problem was the manner in which he brought up the subject ( in my opinion) however, what other ways could he have brought up the subject matter then????? I just hope that we don't lose any members from attending the meet cause of this silly *** difference. I personally prefer the meets on the 1st Saturday of each month and my vote reflects as such. if it were the case where I am the minority in the preferred date(Saturday) for some other day for us to have the meet, i need to reassess how much do I really want to go and meet people of the same interest. I think this was the sole intended purpose of the poll and not to shoot people down for requesting and or voicing their opinion.

they were personal PM'S that were sent to him...that right there was going to far...I'm pretty sure the little internet thugs that sent thte pm's won't show up to the next meet,that were at the last one...it's usually how it works...

im surprised you are having a situation down there. you have a great smaller city which makes it easy for everyone to get together. also, LOTS of people who love cars and car history in general. don't forget that!
you could have meets both days, doesnt take that many people. the first SD meet I went to it was Mel, me, and Renz (an hour or so later). 3 people! I saw lots of pics from mini meets Andy, Gene, and BJ used to have. Doesnt take much to have a party
Good luck and I know you regular peeps will kiss and make nice. Sounds like you already have.

Nothing Jimmy Boy said was out of content or offensive so if he/she thought that they missed something he/she did not!!!…The subject matter now has gone too far by making personal attacks to Jimmy Boy by PM’ing unnecessary slander and immature comments that could possibly get he/she banned from the forum which I hope happens…This kind of behavior should not be tolerated…I for one would like to continue every 1st Saturday of the month meets…I will also go on to say that Jimmy Boy is great guy, and I have had many conversations with Jimmy boy on occasions at the meets, fusion café on Tuesday’s, and here on the forum…
So to the others who don’t know what the hell happen or don’t know what is going on do not add to the confusion to make things worse…This poll is to figure out how, when, and what day to hold our monthly meets…

I am confused about April's meeting. Is it going to be a Sunday thing or Karts on that Saturday basically going to be the meeting or as a third option are we karting on Saturday and meeting on Sunday?
nah the karting thing is seperate from the meet...were going to hold off till the poll thing is done and them make a thread to continue the meets on saturdays...but as archie's myself and few others said it would be better to get everybody's imput...But most likely the meets will continue to be 1st saturdays of the month...
