July 5th this meet is going down, from my understanding some that are going to this meet will be heading out to panda garage to go to there grand opening that jimmy and his shop is holding...So if possible anybody interested in cruising from fudds to panda is more then welcome...

i will for sure be there.. one question though i live like a couple blocks from fuddruckers.. i just got my s5 jdm TII running in my first gen ..however the omp isnt pumping any oil through the lines.. i was wondering if you guys can help me out .. ive tested continuity and voltage and im just confused now thanks a lot guys! my name is Marvin.. see you guys then!

zero did you find the your oil cooler washer? I only found one but it is working for now.

 

Waiting for my fuel pump/filter to arrive. I should be golden after that.

My paint ain't that bad! Check the sig- but it's getting painted here shortly with a complete FEED kit. I'm waiting to see how Charlie's car turns out at this Tijuana joint. The money I save will go to a rebuild and single turbo...

In the mean time, I'm rockin' the STi.

i dont mean to bring up my car problems on this thread but.. isnt it i have to have a "working" s5 omp (s5 TII engine) even if i go the premix route.. so that i will stay out of limp mode? AHHHH teddy might come down this weekend but yeah thanks guys

Not that I'm aware of. People premix knowing that they don't know if their OMP is working properly. I mean, are you in limp mode now?

i dont know if i am in limp mode or not..but the omp isnt pumping any oil through the lines ... im gonna check to see if i am in limp mode by driving it
So when i drive it i should run premix ..and then how would i know if i am in limp mode? i heard around 3500 rpm the car will struggle to make power.

If i am in limp mode that means i need a new omp =|... my ecu is fine.. nothing fried.
Also, can i just leave the omp on the front cover and just take out 2 things
-the little rectangular nub on the omp that mates to the drive gear on the front cover
-the rod and spring in the omp so that oil will not pump.
Rather than making a block off plate and tying the omp to the side .. thanks guys..sorry this was long lol

 

pogi why not just do block off and premix? I'm going to ditch the OMP when I visit mazdatrix and buy all the block off plates. and how do you know it's not pumping?
