i ran a crappy 14.8 at 98 mph, i couldnt grab traction in 1st or second. i litterally just sat there in one place while my tires were spinning in 1st. i need some drag radials.

Sorry to hear about the traction issues Brandon. Was this the orange TII?

you should still be able to do much better than that, i did a 13.5 with serious traction issues on street tires.. a 2.5xx 60' and trapped 108MPH. first time at the track i ran similar numbers, like a 14.5 at 105 but then later found out i was only running 7psi of boost and i didn't air down my tires, airing your tires down to about 15psi helps a ton.

never expect to get great numbers first time out, i stripped 1 second off my time just doing a few little things, shifting and launching are the main thing that most people need work on(what else is there aside from setting up the car different anyways? lol).

12's aren't impossible on street tires but it is difficult to push them that far in a rear wheel drive only car.

i am running 9.6psi but only have a trap time of 98mph. i launch good on the street, no problem there but on the track it was like i was launching in oil or something. nomatter how hard i tried not to i broke the tires loose.

sucks, those are basically completely stock TII 1/4 mile times so i would say something is wrong with the car or tires for it not to hook up at all. my guess is your tires are giving you grief, a hard compound winter tire will suck for launching.

What's the actual model number on the tires? Are they the RT-615? And what tire pressure were you running?
