Well it's like anything else. If I wasn't much into the car scene, I'd probably just think it was just a bunch of kids screwing around with cars in the area. I don't like solicitation on my business as much as anyone else; we just have to be careful where we hold these meets...

 

he is moving his shop somewhere else so once he gets his new location the meets are gonna be at his shop and security was cool with us there he didnt say anything bad about us the hot dog place that was there liked us because we brought business to them and everything seemed good

Well that is cool but I would like to see if anybody is interested in having a meet this saturday. Say 11am? LMK how that works for some people. It would be at Garcia Bend Park in the Pocket area.
And please, don't really want to hear people complaining about the location. Would like this to be a rotary specific meet. (personally)

What evenings are you free? Was thinking sometime next week as I'm busy all this week and have my CCW class this weekend. Yay for 16 hours in a classroom all weekend....

 

I've got no issue with hosting, or finding a place to host one. I'll probably get something like weekly or maybe bi-weekly going. I'll be in the area in about a month; first meet I'm hosting will probably be around November.

loll, I won't have a working rotary powered car for a while. Project is underway with new engine. That's cool, we'll get a couple of people and hangout on some week or weekend night.

 

Man I would love it if I could make it to one of the sac town meets. Being a marine stationed in Japan and on the other side of the world from my FC makes that a little difficult. I know once I get home for a little leave id love to make it to a meet or two. Anyone happen to know of a good rotary rebuilding place by chance? Or even a place to buy already rebuilt 13b's?

As far as 13Bs go, I've only experienced places back East for rebuilding rotaries... Or do it yourself? Atkins sells a great kit

 

Its stil an FD but you know how sensitive some get when you slap corvette motors in them.

 

Well I've been out in Japan for about a year now and I've about another 14 months left out here. But I still go back home to visit my wife and friends every time I get a chance. Yes sir I am On the lovely Okinawa island and I can't wait to get back home and meet some of you fellow seven owners. I would really love to learn how to do great rebuilds for myself but it sure would be crazy expensive to have to keep pulling it apart all the time for little mistakes. And especially if those little mistake make huge internal damages. But if I can find really good resources and info then it would be just like the whole "give a man a rotary he'll drive until redline, teach a man a rotary and he'll drive for a lifetime" haha just came up with that. Not bad.
