RX-7 Tuner Mag

I just got off the phone with Ryan Scott. He is going to continue to publish RX Tuner mag and expects the next issue to be out in 6 weeks or so. I think his magazine is top notch and encourage everyone to subscribe or resubscribe to help keep his work going. I was told in September that the magazine was out of business and was gien a refund for my subscription and the back issues I had ordered. I'm going to resubscribe, as is my son. Let's all support him and Brian Sieber!

I subscribed over a year ago. They took my money and then nuttin'. I called them up and asked what was the problem with my subscription. They said they didn't have me listed as a subscriber. So I faxed them a copy of my CC statement that showed that I was charged $36(or whatever amount) by them. Eight months later, still nuttin'. I'm not going to bother with them anymore.

I beleive they lost their payment records and sent "everyone" the email that they didn't pay in hopes of the ones that actually didn't paying up otherwise without the bluff they would have had to ship to everyone regardless of payment. I also told them I payed with date, CC info etc and was told they had no record of me paying. I have received most of the issues, unless it's supposed to come out every few months. I wouldn't like to see it fold. I would like to renew but only if it improve and their are no payment issues again. There is actually very little advertisement in it and that's why it's so thin. Hopefully they can get paying advertisers to keep them afloat.

When I first bought my RX-7 in the early 90's, I subscribed to Rotary Rocket magazine. They pulled the same ****. Sent a couple of issues then nothing. When I called, I got a box of past issues.
Something tells me this is the same guy. I'd like to know just to confirm my suspicions.
I have received two or three issues of RX Tuner then nothing.
Suport Brian Sieber!? F... him.

Unfortunately "most" magazines fail in the first year. Someone said there was alot of advertising but it had hardly any. The mag is very thin. If you look at the girly mags, car & driver or whatever you'll notice 2/3 of it is crap and it's what 300pages and RXTuner is 30 pages? We are such a small niche that it should have been Rotary Tuner or Mazda Tuner so he could have expanded his customer base to RX8's, Miatas, etc. Unless there is a new RX7 then I don't see the magazine making enough money to survive unless somehow it could sell in Japan but then there is a RX7 magazine there allready.
