Rotor question

i was working on my rebuild a while back and now i have no idea which rotor goes where.... a while back i saw somehting about the markings telling where it goes. can anyone help me? or point me in the right direction.

what?

i dont need parts i need to know if there is a way to tell if the rotor goes in the rear or front

The rotors can be swapped without issue. The rotor housings should have a little "F" or "R" somewhere on the top near the Mazda/Lic. by NSU text to show they are the Front or Rear rotor housing.

yes their is a front and rear on the rotors , many people disregard this because of people saying things like no there is no diference but then again not to many people can build really reliable and high horse power n/a motors

I see your claim and raise you a parts diagram! Newbie counter...technique! !

86-88 parts diagrams:


N/A's had a choice of rotors with or without chromium plating. Interesting...

theedn, where you use rotors in the engine does not matter. If it was important, Mazda would've stamped or marked the rotors somehow (like with the rotor housings).

Good luck finishing the rebuild!

******* rookies , here you go grasshopper , before you come and correct me find out who the **** i am and what i have done in the rotary world youngster..... note the dealer part number 23-102a both the same correct , yes now note the actual part number n3y5-11-b10 and n3y5-11-b10a its very easy to miss if you dont have attention to detail keep reading turbo magazine and mazdatrix website your gonna go a long way
