If thats you, the oil definitely came from your car. i poked my finger in it to see if it was water or oil. Big time oil. Kinda dirty too :P

from the location of the oil in the parking spot. it looks like it was coming from somewhere near the back of the motor.

you had your car running and just sitting there for a short while. Try doing that at your house and see if you can spot the drip. Maybe it only loses oil when the oil system is pressurized. could mean you just have a loose fitting or something.

Thanks for all the info. I have a small turbo leak, maybe it got alot worse. I run idumitsu oil, it starts out looking like crap straight out of the bottle IMO. I got less that 500 miles on a oil change. I will check it with the motor running, thanks again

dont worry, i've driven my car for maybe a collective of about 2 minutes since i bought the car 1.5 years ago. I'm just happy to finally be getting it road worthy.


But this leads me to my next statement then question; I've only ridden in one rotary equiped rx7 before(1985 fuel injected 13b FB), and obviously never driven one. Who would like to give me a ride in theirs? I just want the experience.

oh BTW, i'm only asking for a passenger seat ride, i dont want to drive.

We got to becareful over there. Last night was my first time coming out, and there seems to be a lot of cops in the area. i know most of us saw that truck that got lit up right in front of everyone, but as i was leaving i saw another cop had pulled over a car, on the other side of the road from where we were at.

Were all targets. I'm definitely not trying to be Papa here, but we shouldnt get into the shananegans that happens at other meet spots. Its just going to give the cops reasons to come over and **** with us. and i dont like to be fucked without a kiss :P

While on the same note, everyone seemed really chill and there wasnt any real shananegans going on. i saw one or two people tear in and out of there. but, everyone as a group was pretty good about it. I'd just hate to have to stop coming cuz the cops want to be dicks. It would be our own undoing.

Well not exactly. i bought it 4 months ago. I had been running( the last kid that owned it was trying to kill the car/himself total noob) after a rebuild, then it got parked for a FMIC/turbo install and a broken rear diff /subframe. I took off the ebay FMIC crap and put it back to stock TMIC. BTW I can give ya a ride anytime you want. How fast ya want to go
