Yeah, there is a guy just north of Sac that does full rebuilds including porting. He is one hell of an engine builder too!! His name on this forum is Karack. You can PM me or you can PM him to get a phone number to contact him. I would fully recommend him for what you are looking for. From my experience I have never seen this much quality work or attention to detail for such a good price!!

i'm 45 miles north of Sac but i can pickup and deliver motors/parts.

oooh yeah. i like it how they bash on other builders in their opening paragraph....

"Welcome to The Rotary Warehouse! We specialize in Mazda Rx7 rebuilt rotary engines. Don't be fooled by other rotary engine builders. We have taken most of them apart at one time or another and were surprised at the poor quality in parts used... "

well i build an engine like it is going in my own car.

i'm not here to fight with their claims though, i just thought it was kind of funny.

my prices are better too.

Like I said before. If any of you need porting and/or a rebuild then you to talk to Karack!! His work is on par with shops like rotorsports racing and BDC Motorsports. And his prices are the same or lower than any I have ever seen. If it's worth anything to anyone, he'll be building my 13B-RE soon.

$1600 to rebuild a 3rd gen short block and $200 for the port work. base price does not include damaged internal parts, it covers all the necessary seals and gaskets but not rotors or housings, etc. if you want me to pull the motor and reinstall it add $800 to the price also which covers all the fluids for the install.

$800 deposit is required which covers parts costs.

If you notice it says "most" not all. Once upon a time long long ago The engine builder worked at another place. That place was the "Warranty Repair" for all MAZDA Factory rebuilds. Mazda has used a few different companies to build their engines. So he has rebuilt allot of warranty engines from other companies and has seen first hand some of the engines put out.

No where on the site does it Bash any engine builder. It only states Facts.

It also says "There are only a handful of Great rotary engine builders in the US." meaning: Rotarywarehouse is not the only one with a good engine builder.

This reply is just an explanation of why they have the rite to claim that. Nothing more.

it was poorly worded, one which quite a few builders would take offense to if you were to look at it from a third person point of view, you cannot deny that.

also since this has been bumped i will say some prices have been adjusted up and down.

a third gen rebuild is now $1500, street porting is $250 and the removal and reinstall on a third gen is $1000 which includes all parts for the install including new vacuum lines, fuel lines, oil, filter and coolant.

engine color schemes can be changed upon request at no charge.

deposit required is now only $500 due when dropping off the car or engine.
