Just to get off topic with all the questions that are constantly asked in the forums. I have story.

Hopefully many of you know how this is and will probably smile and think, "Damn I love my 7."

This just happened maybe 20mins ago (10:20pm just in case no body knew).
I was drivin home from my girls house, ya know just cruisin along in my 91 vert. So I'm half way home and I pull up and I see this kid in a 88 Toyota Celica trying to get the guy next to him in a 03 Corolla S to race him. So I sit back and watch and see how bad this guy in the corolla is goin to spank this kid. Well he does, he took off the line right as the light went green and he put this kid to shame. Well I start thinkin its been awhile since I've had a race so why the hell not. So at the next stoplight I roll beside and rev my engine. At the stop light we were making a left turn and I was in the far left lane and needed to get over to the far right lane so I could go home. Well right as that green light was off I shifted into first and I was gone. I left this kid in the dust right off the line and put his *** to shame. I ended up going the legal speed of 45mph. So this kid still wants a piece of me so he starts to follow. I smile to myself thinking I know I'm goin to beat his *** down again. So I make my right turn to head home and he's right on my ***, so I shifted to 2nd and I was off again leaving him in a trail of my 7's exhaust. He follows trying to keep up but he just won't back off. So for the final race to my house the road I take is atleast 1/4 of a mile long. So we roll up to the stop sign and the chase was on, then over before it got started. I smoked his *** one more time for good measure and had atleast 10 lengths on him.


The whole time I was thinking god damn I love my 7!

 

The heck are you racing a freakin 88 Celica for? I don't see any huge accomplishment by beating him. However, the story was very well written.

LMAO I know that! My 7 is fully stock but kid that thinks that he can race his little stock civic or celica or whatever taht has like a cold air intake or a catback deserves to get a wake up call . You're right I didn't really acomplish anything besides the pissed off look in the kids face. It's just funny that these kids out there that have civics and rice them out but only put an intake or catback think that they can out run anything. I just love to see their faces.



BTW I'll probably be needin a hookup in a couple of years, the smog is still good on the car.
