Reputable Performance Shops in Socal?
I'm sure many of you guys have different shops you go to to get work done to your car. What are some reputable performance shops for rotaries that you guys go to to modify your car? rebuild the engine? get interior work done? get body work done?
Thanks
Thanks

I highly recommend Rotary Power in Gardena. I think the owner of Sidepex(Norm, was it? Sounded like a cool guy on the phone.) learned and honed his knowledge and skills while working for Jeff at Rotary Power.

Just comparing the knowledge and resources available between Mkiv supras and rx7 FD3S.
Looking to buy one or the other in the next year. Just wanted to do somet research on Rx7s before coming down to a final decision. Some of you guys from Orange County/ Irvine might know my brother. He's on anteaterforums. Goes by the handle Old Man Celica. He has the diamond pearl white Mkiv supra rolling on SF Challenges.

Yes mazdatrix is expensive. They also make mistakes. Such example of GuitarJunkie's Fd high compression assembly rebalanced by them. It was damaged in shipping because of poor packaging. Even if you pay top dollar you will still get a product f-ed up.

I know someone who brought a GSL-SE to mazdatrix for smog issues as it woudnt pass. They charged him approx $600. Guess what? It still wont pass. My friend got tired from arguing with mazdatrix.

BTW, R&R in Upland is a real good shop... time estimates aren't, but top quality work at a great price. That's were I take my car and they've never let me down.
