I have my cars, insurance, registration, and license in NC but everything is mailed to me in Cali. No problems with that so far. Why, you trying to register your car out of state to get around the SMOG *****?

You can do that Zach?....what If I have my daily driver truck on one insurance(cheaper liability) and my FD on another insurance (better coverage), would that be possible to just get the FD registered in another state?..

Watch it salty!! Don't forget that you're coming up here for Rotorfest.

Anthony, Wacky does have a point though. I'm in the military so I keep my home of record in NC. That's how I can get away with what I do.

Sure you can do that. What if you have Two houses and you want to keep one car at one house one at the other. You aren't required to get dual Drivers license. So you may register a car where ever you can show a residence or business.

You really think that 80% of the US trucking companies are actually located in Oklahoma?

Very true. As long as you can set up a mailing address and have 2 bills sent there then you can get a driver's license and register your car there. Anybody want to pay for a good mailing address in NC?? J/K

You can use the same address that your bills go to for your insurance. My insurance has me listed in NC, but all of the bills are mailed to my house in Rocklin, CA.
