I think I may be able to get my funds up to have my FD painted the beginning of next year. Can anyone recommend shops from Sacramento (preferred) to the bay area. I'm looking for quality and hoping to keep it around $3k but can possibly bump that number up to $4k. It will be painted the same color.

Almaden Collision & Kenny Auto, Inc

but they are all the way down in San Jose. I recently got different car painted there. Can't even be happier.

 

Mind if I asked what you paid there and if it was a different color if you did the engine bay?

Hmmm got quoted quite a bit more over the phone just ball parking it. Maybe I'll drive out and see what the actual quote is. But mine for 6k+ was the same color no engine pull....

I went to a spot in Sacramento called Tnt auto body to check out some of their work and get a quote.

Work they were doing and did seemed great. They had tons of cars that made it to the front of all different kinds of auto magazines. Quoted between 4-5k which seems reasonable for the amount of work they do (have a few dents, back bumper damage, gonna install my new front bumper too). I'll probably be getting my car painted here in a few months.
