Racing Beat Presilencer Questions...

Well my car is done from Neptune Speed and it is frekkin LOUD! I was looking at Racing Beat's line of presilencers. Which one do you guys use, and how effective are they? Right now im considering the large Power Pulse Presilencer series (part number 16434) or the Rev TII presilencer (part number 16425P). Do you guys have any personal experiences with these silencers?

Depends on what size your exhaust piping is. If it's 2.5", get the Power Pulse. If it's 3", get the REV TII presilencer.

Hope that helps.

I have a pulse on my NA (2.5") It keeps it nice and quiet under 3k RPM. And it isn't too high in high revs either. I'm on stock cat back though so it may be different.

If you're looking for a weld on presilencer, take a look at the Borla XR-1.

Hey guys,

Well i got a Corksport Power Series (Turboback 3"). With the Tail-silencer in it, its the limit in loudness.. but if the silencer is out... OMFG!!! its like there is no exhaust system under the car, its just horrible, you cant hear yourself screaming in car between 3000-4000rpm.
My car is a S5 TII.
Ok, i thought about getting me a RB- Presilencer (the large one), do you think it will reduce the noise compared to the PIPE the corksport system includes?

here are pictures for comparison:

my RB one is bigger then that... LOL and its quite, i ran it one day with just downpipe, then just downpipe with presilencer, then the full system...

i liked it with the downpipe and presilencer... sounded soooo good... it was deep and low...
