Quick question Please help!!!!!
What up everyone well just a couple months ago i sold my 2nd gen rx 7 and i miss it.My question now is how hard would it be to get one of those 2nd gen rx 7 turbo II right hand side driver from canada? I see them advertise for sell but is it possible to bring them here to cali? I heard something about if there 15 year or older its consider a classic and you can bring them to cali is this true? Any info would be helpful thanks guyz or gurlz. Must have a rotary once again!!

nothing but just wanted to see if i can get my hands on a original japenese model you know but if i cant ill defenitly get a leftside.Can ne 1 give me ne info?

ok, before i say anything else, i must state this, I have not had personal experience with this. With that said, especially in california, from what i've read/been told, it's a lot of red tape.

now, convincing the dmv and the epa is hard work, and that $5000 budget poses some limitations. I've met a guy on the boards in san jose that is trying to get smog exceptmion and he's been writing letters for two years (no lie), i've seen quite a few cars that were imported (mostly civic type rs) that the owners had to sale because they couldn't register the car.
My advice(if you really want something different and are willing to do the work... Import a complete front clip and convert a second gen to rhd (i've actually seen this done on a chevy cavalier (they sale a rhd toyota cavalier in japan for a few years). Or you can try to swap vins and convince somebody that this is a regular us car converted to rhd...
