Putting the 7 away

Sup guys.

Been awhile since i have talked or seen any of you. so i thought id give you guys some updated info. Im loving the 7 (even tho its been passed around the community like 8 times) it just needs a lot of down time for me to work out the the electrical issues, the exhuast system needs to be redone. interior work needs to be done like new dash ( i have had the dash for about almost 6 months now and still havent had a chance to swap it out.) all this becuase the car is DD. but no more! i hate to say it but its time for me to garage the 7 and put it as a 2nd car.
plus im having a kid a soon and the wife is all histerical about the "fumes" in the even i have to drive the kid around. i figured an infant would love the sound of brap brap , but i guess not.

so i told the wifey if i have to put my 7 away i want a car that would be a good fit as a 4 door family sedan but still provide daddy a super awesome grin when he hits the gas peddle.

so im thinking about getting one of these.

not a bad choice since you got a kid to drive around, the suby is all a good pick very high crash rating, if you looking for a good gas saver with style then check out the mazda 3 great car.

well, congrats on you and the wifey and i wish you guys the best. don't worry about the FC, it'll always be there or there are still plenty out there (before all of em become junked. ).

as far as getting a new car, that's cool. but you should settle for the swagger wagon.

I think an S4 or 335i sedan would be a much nicer family sedan with decent power.

yes it has and still holds up pretty well. at least untill recently. getting some charging issues/starting issues. so its time to put this thing in a garage and give it the tlc it needs. i plan on keeping the car in hopes of transforming it to something cool. wish me luck

do yourself a favor and just buy your wife a SUV, a van or a cross-over. COz, sooner or later, she will nag you for it. Otherwse, you wont make it back to the rotary scene until your kids are grown up OR you lots of cash to burn

I had to make that choice too when my kid was born. I must say from all the 4 door "fun" cars i had to choose from the Evo was my best bet. The only down side you then neglect your 7 and start dumping money into the new car. I picked up my evo stock and within 2 months it turned into this.

that's the reason why I recommended something else. Its not easy to have a kid, multiple car payments and multiple project cars on top of that. been there, done that.

My coworker's got a JDM Evo and pulled up with a Recaro baby seat in the back one time... Definitely cool.
