Pulled over.
I drive to Las Vegas all the time from Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. Also back and forth in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. My red 89 N/A RX-7 is my DD. I've never been pulled over. I drive fast, but keep a great eye open for the police. They've seen me, passed me and never gave me a second look. I don't have a problem with them. They don't have a problem with me. My RX-7 is stock except for the fat 17x8 and 9 in rear, mesh rims BFG KDFs. Sooo I like them and respect them. Of course if I ever did get pulled over, my current creditentials just might help me out. lol!

I haven't been pulled over in my -7 in nearly 20 years; I'm not shy about the throttle, so it must be mostly luck and partly down to a subdued color.
Shortly after I bought my 350z, I was running east on Lambert just prior to the entrance to Carbon Canyon, whacking along at about 75 (it's a 45 zone) on an empty road, when I got lit up by a Brea patrol car crouching inside the park gate.
I pulled over immediately, and when the officer got to the door and asked "the question," I told him, "Officer, I'll be honest with you; it's a lovely night, the road was empty, and I'm still getting used to this car. I was going a bit faster than the posted limit, but it's very easy to do on this stretch of road."
He actually smiled, complimented the car, asked a few questions about how I liked it - - said he'd been looking at one himself - - then told me to be more careful in the future, and sent me on my way.
Didn't even trouble me about the lack of a front plate.

Few months back it was about 11 at night, and I was in the exit lane of the highway. I started doing little "jukes" in my lane, going side to side. Not furious and unsafe, just little "side-to-side" swings... I was feeling a change I made to the coilovers.
Cop came FLYING up behind me out of no where, pulled me over, and asked if I was drunk.
I must have looked at him like he was stupid. He ended up giving me a BS ticket for "improper lane change"
My court date was 4 days ago. I made a stink to the judge that I never even changed lanes. Ticket dismissed.
