Prayers to those in FIRE AREAS.

I know there are some of you on this board that are near the fires.

Riceburner in Lake Forest, hope you're okay. I know we had some differences but no one deserves to be homeless.

The ppl who cruise Osborne w/me that live in Santa Clarita, Canyon Country...and all others I know there are alot of you in San Deigo...Hope you are all well and have a relative or friends house to go to due to the mando evac.

Let's hope for the Santa Ana's to die down and for some rain.

I live up in carlsbad, so far so good... had to stay at work till 1130 or so last night and pass out flyers to all the marine familys on base here at camp pendleton, we also set up an evac site with cots and blankets, water and so forth, as of now we are on standby hoping we don't have to evacuate base, if so we are going to assist in that as well, prayers are out to all that have lost or may loose things, lets hope the fires die out

In my area, the Harris Fire is burning about 5 miles east from me. Good thing the Sweetwater Reservoir keeping it at bay. Fire fighters are making a stand tonight along Hwy-94 to keep it from spreading north into more populated areas. These maps will show you more of what areas been devastated.

The fires moved away from my area and headed south. My prayers go out to everyone who was affected. I'm glad to hear that other states are lending a hand to help combat the fires. I live on the corner of Jamboree and Santiago Canyon. All the streets are closed off, but luckily evacuation was voluntary.

I'm located in Tierrasanta (south of the 52 near marimar) Monday night, I watched the fires burn on the back side of Marimar, awaiting for it to jump over the 52 into Tierrasanta.
Right when Scripps Ranch were told to prepair for evacuation, so as were we.
I helped a few of my friends evacuate there places in both East Lake and Spring Valley. And wow the fires have destructed far side of East Lake. I will be posting pictures later on today.

Glad to hear that all my fellow San Diegans appear to be safe. I evacuated from southeast Ramona on Sunday afternoon just as the flames started coming over the backside of the hills into our neighborhood. I evacuated to Poway and then on Monday afternoon evactaued from there down to Mission Valley due to the fire closing in on Poway.

All roads into and out of Ramona are blocked/closed but I did get a call yesterday from ADT telling me that somebody was breaking into my house. ADT called 911 and then asked me to call 911 as well. I called 911 and was told that they couldn't do anything becuase they didn't know if I was the actual burglar calling them (WHY the fck would I be calling them if I was the burglar? ) I finally managed to network through about 5 different people and get in touch with somebody that didn't evacuate from my neighborhood. Talked to him and he volunteered to go find a cop and check it out. Call came back later from him and the Sheriff that everything was ok. Fck'n nuts!

I'm just gald all my fellow S.D. rotorheads are ok!

Thanks for all those who are supporting us san diegans as this wretched fire risks alot of lives and houses. 2 of my friends got evacd but both of their houses were spaired. 2 of my uncles in the Rolling Hills Ranch area of eastlake/chula vista were evacd along with my grandma and my dad in bonita. luckily the fire never reached that far and all was spared. for those who have yet to be in the clear. good luck and my prayers are with you all. Teddy i think adrian got evacd from his house way out in rancho san diego, any news from him?

Have a vacant unit at one of my apts...can offer it to 1 family (or up to 3 ppl that dont mind living together) in S orange for 2-3 weeks until a week before the new tenants move in.

This is to help out victims of the fires in Socal so please be truthful.
