Powder coat.
As some of you know I have been running on a blown coolant seal for around a year. And in my parting out of FD's I came across a very low mile motor. Any way to make a long story short, the motor is in and im just taking my time to make it look nice.
Just got a few pieces back from powder coat, thought I would show them to you.

These are done in the black wrinkle finish. If anyone needs some stuff done a fellow FD guy dose this out of his house.

depends on what you want done. And if we can get a lot of parts done at the same time. Belive it or not the most expensive part is the electricity to run the oven. So the more parts we have, the cheaper they are per part. If you waned to do both the 2 pieces that I did all alone would be about 75 bucks. That includeds bead blasting, masking and powder coat. So it could be the uglyist, oilly, nast piece when we get it.
Looks nice. I sprayed myine with Krylon engine paint. Doesn't look as nice but ist ok. Just watch the lim when you are putting the motor in. My chain scratched my LIM when I hoisted it. The wiggling to get the bolts to line up didn't help either. .02 given
