Post pics of your ride(s)!
That’s not very nice to say, you must have realized there has been a recession the last few years and yet a lot of these people are putting almost everything they have into the cars they love, so please take your negativity somewhere else, no one wants to hear it.
As you said you have not been here in sometime and as far as I can tell no one missed you, so please why don't you go away again.

What he's saying may have been phrased differently. But his statement is just a comment about the thread. I think what was "not very nice to say" was your last couple of comments, which were directed at him personally.
I'd rather to see more pics like Hypertek's FC than to see 10 pictures of the same unfinished project. Who wouldn't? Hypertek's FC does the entire rotary community proud. That machine is cleaner than most FC's or FD's on this forum.
I've posted a couple unfinished pics, but they were ALWAYS accompanied by the end result of my time and work and sore muscles and blood from whatever piece of car I sliced my hand on to get it FINISHED.
I've worked on my car til 3am with a hole saw and sledgehammer on the street rolling around in oil, coolant and power steering fluid with just nothing to see with but a faded streetlight and an LED flashlight on my head, shaking from the cold just to finish what I started. [ I remember during the daytime, with the engine all over the sidewalk, this old lady walked by on the street and said "You're not going to finish today." It turned out she was right, but I did finish at 3 the next morning. ]
The first time I replaced my turbos with new Efinis, I had nothing but a floor jack to raise my car in the air. For those who have never done this, imagine trying to hold up and balance 50 lbs of iron with one arm while trying to find and tighten 8 bolts that you can't see, all when the car's only a foot off the ground and there's no room between the turbos and the side of the engine bay. Did I mention it was freezing outside? I went deep into the night with that one too, but I finished.
There's a lot of posts here of "just wait til you see what I got next" when all that's next is more unfinished pics. Hey I'm just stating the facts. If only the time was spent working on the car instead....
This isn't intended to be disrespectful. Those of you who know me know I'm beyond that.
Put in the work. We all have the same 24 hours in a day. Use it wisely. No excuses.
In the end, your car is your car so per the title of this thread you can represent it here. However, I prefer how Hypertek represents his ride. Respect.
And a little politeness goes a long way, ya dig.
I'd post a pic at this point, but I don't have any unfinished pics
You do know, your LIM gasket is flipped backwards right?

Don't be afraid to hold at least partial throttle when transitioning. When you let go of the throttle when changing directions, you're getting understeer and destroying your FC.

My no PS manual steering rack is fine. But I do feel the pain of no AC and I could only imagine street driving a carb'd car.
Anyways, drove my car back from SLO yesterday and washed it today. I'll take some pictures in the morning.
