The area of avondale itself is not my fav area of phoenix by far. Alot of theft on that side of town and as far as car peeps, they are far and spread around, and even worse if your looking for rotary heads...

But if you dont mind cruising a few miles, there is a ton of activity about 18 miles away in the East valley on weeknights and weekends

Going to UTI? I went there for a year. Loved my time out there, Luckily I had a good group of friends. There was about 4 of us who had FC's, a Couple guys with STi's, some Bikes, we would hang out most of the time. As for a Car scene, I never really got to see much. AZRx7.com is good group of guys. Caravaned out to Seven Stock with Jrat, and those guys. Most of the AZ guys hang out over there at AzRx7.com.

They have or had speed cameras on the freeway. Anything over 10 miles+ you get your picture takin. I only say 2 and they were on the other side of the valley from me, in Scottsdale.

Hit up Elliot from www.turblown.net.

He does custom fabrication and tuning. And builds bomb *** manifolds.

Example in progress for my 20b.

I saw the setup in the shop, looks great.

I used to live in avondale years ago, I hope you have a garage for your Rx-7.

Get or build yourself a Spec7 (or pro7) and go racing with SCCA. They have a good group of RX7 racers. Most of their races are at PIR this year. The rest are at Firebird. There used to be a couple of other groups racing there too. You should be able to pick up a completed car for about $3000. Or I could probably find the Spec7 suspension parts and cage for $500-$600. Probably more fun than driving an NSX.
