I agree with everything you said. Yea on a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the highest, the license plate petition is a 1 to me too, but is there such a thing as fighting for to much?

That's why I don't understand why you just won't sign it. It just seems that you're afraid that someone might get ahold of you SSN and use it? All they ask from you is your name and email address which they will keep private.

I'll just take the ticket. I wouldn't even bother with the petition. Every car I've owned, I've removed the front license plate. I still got a ticket before from red light cam. They dont need you front license plate. Your rear will do fine. Trust me, they got almost a 360 on me. HAHA! This battle is not worth fighting. Just run without one if you dare. When you get a ticket for it, you'll know why. I wouldn't even argue with the cop. You already know you're in the wrong. I'll just pay for the ticket, and take it right back off.

 

haha, no the SSN comment was an example of how far I'd go for a petition that is well written and could have some real impact on society.

Honestly, I won't sign it because I don't understand why this is a big deal to anyone. You sign and BACK things you feel strongly about and this isn't one of those issues but free bump for joo.

You can get the license plate bracket for $30 at any Mazda dealer. The cheap pair of flat bull horns doesn't look any better, but it doesn't require holes in bumper. Bolts on. Got one after my first front license plate ticket in years. Friggin' bay area.

that will get the petition nowhere. law makers don't care about that. When I read this, I immediately thought less of the petition. It just sounds like a bunch of high schoolers. It'd be wiser for the petition owner to rephrase this statement into a gas/energy saving issue rather than an "performance" issue.

I signed it but I did disagree with this one I don't think this really helps. I hope it passes though I've been hassled about my front plate twice it gets old quick.

srsly though, if you dont want a ticket for it, just make sure you have something more important for the cop to ticket you for, i havnt had my front plate in years, and ive never once been bothered about it, but been pulled over plenty of times

i dont think its high on their priority list unless youve made them nitpick to find a reason to ticket you
