passing CA smog with premix

You should have no problem. As far as I know, premixing makes no difference in emissions.

Actually I just checked this out like 2 weeks ago. put my car on a sniffer at school with lean premix(like roughly 150:1) then filled up and mixed at like 90:1 and the Hc's went WAY up. i would run your tank almost empty and fill up 1/2 way to get tested then go fill it up after with premix.

edit: didnt see the date on that one lol

premix made no difference at all for me.
i passed with 110k+ original 3 cats... no emission, just air pump to main cat, and premixed... dont knwo how much, more than recommend, i just took the bottle and shove it in there like the two white guys tossing gasoline at the manager in the movie waiting...

90:1 is pretty god damn rich when premixing. i'm sure premixing doesn't help but you can pass easily if you're not running friggin 90:1..... twice as bad if you are still running the OMP. on top of that imo you didnt test it the same way both times either. premixing shouldn't adversely affect emissions unless you dump insane amounts of oil into it.

I passed with premix(1oz per gallon), street port on my TII. Its possible.
