Passing AZ emission

New to the Rotary game, almost going to buy a Rx7 but need to figure out emission before i spend money and just have it sit in the garage.

the car has
GT42r turbo
1600 2nd injector
huge street port, etc...(most to accomdate 400+ rwhp)
The car has no air pump and cat. Ive been reading and am thinking about a random technology cat, or some sort of high flow cat with 3' inlet and outlet. also im thinking about the denatured alcohol and 100 octane gas. Anyone treid this? esp in az? any help is appreciated, i dont want to spend money on a car and not beable to enjoy it, any help is appreciated.

I'm the least informed person here, but I can tell you that you will not pass emissions without the air pump installed and operating.

as far as I know the only two ways in AZ to pass emissons like that is to register the car as a classic car or in a smaller county. In AZ cars 15+ years can be registered as classics only if you have one or more priamry vehicals and if you have classic car insurance then you dont have to go through emmisons. thats the way I'm going when mine's done.http://www.semasan.com/main/main.aspx?id=61895. I also think you can register in some of the smaller countys with out emmisons if you have a address or PO box in that county. You should check out the MVD website for more info.

i been looking and it seems that 2k a year is a limit on mileage, is there a "special" a way to not show the mile for insurance purpose. im not trying to cheat anyone i just rather enjoy the car more then 2k a year.

I have classic insurance on my FD, pay $300 a year and have a 3000 mile limit. No emissions for me, yay!

Yeah, I got a hookup for you. It's easy and all you need is a phone and your license plate number.

Call this number. Give them your plate. And wait for the mail to arrive.

I pass my FC easily each year with a corvette airpump and a cat.

Everything else is blocked off or completely removed.

If your tune is dirty then you may not pass. Alcohol is my back up method of passing although watch out for running too lean and popping the motor.
