That was mine. It was a nice cruise, and good to meet other RX-7 owners from the area. That was my first time seeing a CYM FD. Really nice color.
Sounds like you might be planning another for the 2nd, but unfortunately, I will have to miss that one as I will be at Thunderhill that weekend, then off to SoCal. I will try and catch the next one.

 

How was your veilside on the twisties? Did it scrape a lot or was it fine?
Are you taking your veilside or 240SX to Thunderhill?

 

It did fine on the drive. I have the HKS coilovers set pretty firm. Of course we were not pushing it very hard. I did hit the bottom edges of the kit a little on those speed bumps at the place we parked by the lake. I will find out how it really handles when I take it to Infineon in July. I am going to drive the VS in HPDE1 so I don't have people trying to pass me in the turns.
I am taking the S15 to Thunderhill.

 

Right on dude. When you see Veilside you think showcar/trailer queen. Nice to know you actually drive your car. Got any pics of your S15? Did you import it or do a conversion?

The S15 was imported by a company in SoCal, and originally purchased by iForged. I purchased from Vince at iForged. That man has too many nice cars including a Veilside RX-7. I am in the process of converting it to full race, with a 12 point roll cage being welded in, 15 gallon fuel cell, Momo Safari seats so far. In the pictures, it still has the Cusco cage and Bride seats but Bride lost my business, and Momo gained a new customer when Bride told be it would cost $4,000 per seat retail, or $3,000 per seat with my discount to put Brix II seats in red leather in the RX-7, so now the RX-7 will be changed to Momo seats as well.

 

If I don't have work that day I will defintely try to make it out.

Why do you say no Rotorfest? Zach said he will be gone 7/7/07 so scratch that date, but we still need a rotorfest for a later date in the summer!

Well guys since the auto X is that weekend, I will be canceling the 2nd, it will be more towards the end of the month...so yeah sorry guys

 

Yeah, Rotary Fest II will still happen. Just not on 7/07/07. I will be in Guam for the whole month of July on business.

But I want to try and set it up for late August or maybe early September. We'll see how things work out though. I will be needing help this year from some people to get things smoothed out though. Last year Berry, Jon, Glenn, and I were the only people that had anything to do with setting up Rotary Fest and it took us several months to get it to what it was. So since we're on short notice here I will need plenty of help to pull it off. PM me if you're interested in helping out.
