We start in Vacaville then we will drive up to Lake Berryessa. It has a mix of twisty roads and straights and the lake to your right. Then we will stop at the rest stop which is about half way. We will head back through Napa which has nice twisty roads and it will dump us off in Fairfield. It's going to be a nice cruise which the norcal7s has never really had, at least not the 2 years i've been here.

Unhappy Our cars

Liz, sorry to hear that you don't have a running car right now. What's wrong with the vert and with Tony's TII?
Hmmm, good question about the TII. It's making some kind of noise under boost that may be a bad turbo. So Tony's not driving it until he has time to figure out what's going on. It's been sitting for over two months.

As for my vert, it was smashed into by a mini-van last month up in Eureka. The lady who hit me is a non-English speaker and, under translation and after the fact, she changed her story (after admitting fault at the scene to the responding police officer) and is now saying she had the green light and I ran the red (even though my car clearly shows the effects of being plowed into by her vehicle). Which is absolutely untrue. So I am in limbo with the insurance company, and I can't start fixing my car until someboy comes to look at it. I'm more than a little unhappy, and may have to pursue legal action.

Anyway…we're currently doing an engine/transmission swap into an FB we bought at the Salvation Army a couple of months back, and so will have that running, at least for autocross events, but it won't be the same.

that's lame Liz, if the report sais she was at fault then sue her insurance company. don't let them total it out, tell the bastards you want it totally restored and have a super high estimate made up for repairs, after you get the check then you can decide whether it's worth repairing or not.

******' insurance companies, i swear...

I don't want to add my name to the list because I'm not 100% sure, but don't be surprised if I show up in a 93 CYM

What: NorCal 7 cruise around Lake Berryessa
When: Saturday May 19th
Where: Meeting at Alamo shopping plaza in Vacaville just off I-80
Why: We need to take a good club cruise.

This should be a really good time. I'm sorry that the thread is getting posted up so late but I was in Vegas on business all last week.

One very important thing!! If you feel the need to try and play Initial D or otherwise drive like an *** you will leave the group and not continue the cruise with us. (This applies to EVERYONE, even NorCal7 members) This is a club cruise and is just meant to be a good time. None of us are out to see who is the fastest through the twisties.

Liz,

I'm very sorry to hear about that. That sounds to be a shitty situation all around. Best of luck in getting that gorgeous vert back on the road.

I'll see everyone at the Alamo Plaza in a few hours. Berry won't be coming today as she still isn't feeling all that great. She had her wisdom teeth removed on Thursday.

Preston, I'll bring the remaining NorCal 7 shirts.

Zach

Nothing like being the first one there huh melicha? You could always kill some time in the Davis arcade.

Scratch, it's pretty easy to find the meeting spot. Just come down 80 East until you see Alamo shopping plaza and park where JDawg said.

Mike, Vacaville is roughly 45min to 1hr depending on traffic and how fast you drive. I'll be leaving Rocklin around noon.

i'm just a couple blocks away from the plaza so i'll probably show up at 1.

best parking will be over in the back near roundtable pizza and the big closed store that used to be OSH, we'll have more than enough space.

Yeah it was a fun cruise with a nice turnouts. Veilside FD looked real nice, especially in person. And the LS1 FC sounded mean.
Sucks the one day they close down the road to Berryessa is on our cruise. Had to back track and we lost a few people but in the end we found everyone, few people decided to go home though.
