OC body shop (or close to) to aluminum weld hatch?
I know there's been a couple recomendations but I don't have the budget that the pimp my trick or smoke my joint shows do. I was recomended a shop and the price is damn good ($300 JT Autostyle ) to fit and paint my RE-A hood but I also want to repair the holes in the hatch from the R2 wing that was leftover when I installed my '99 Odula wing and it requires an aluminum welder.
If I had the extra cash I would do a custom camo paint job but can't, sigh. Anyhow I prefer the OC but could to up to an hour away if I trailer the car.

If I go to jt autostyle, they can only do the hood. Since the car will be in the shop for a week and the hood is being painted, I might as well fix the holes and paint the hatch as well but they can not do the hatch. They holes need to be filled in by welding and since it's aluminum it needs to be done by someone with aluminum welding experience.

Pricey, ack. Oh well maybe check it out on my lunch break. I went to Reflections and got an estimate for 12.5hrs labor and 4.5hrs paint on my RE-A frp hood alone. He said when the hood gets this bad, it's cheaper to replace it. wtf, it's brand new? I think it's alot cheaper to go carbon fiber with the hatch then repair and paint. I guess I look like i'm made of money cause every shop I go to likes to stiff me. Maybe it's the car?
