O2 Sensor, PowerFC, Closed Loop

Hey i just took out my wideband O2 Sensor, and installed a generic Universal O2 sensor. (didn't even bother to hook it up) My PowerFC is in a closed Loop, and my car was tuned by Steve Kan last SS8. Is this okay? Or do I *need* to install the o2 sensor? One thing i noticed is that my car runs better without that crappy Wideband... (previous owner probably had a bad install)

Check to see if the O2 is disable. I usually disable the O2 feedback so it shouldn't affect driveability and idle.

in fact, when i HAD the AEM uego unit, my car would hesitate under WOT.. it would "stumble" before revving. But after the Uego removed, and just a universal O2 sensor (just to plug the hole up) my car runs pretty darn good... no more stumbles!
