norcal meet

whats up guys wondering if anyone would be interested in a rx7 meet/bbq this coming up sunday which i believe is may 22nd around 12pm-6pm. I was thinking of doing it at the martin luther king regional park in oakland, its on doolittle and swanway. http://www.ebparks.org/parks/mlk

theres a nice parking lot in the back with grassy fields and what not with bbq grills. let me know what the interest level is and maybe well get the norcal rotary community together!

That sounds cool but I would try to wait till mid or end June at least. Weather will be better and lots of people will probobly be busy until school is out. Just a thought. It would be nice to get the Norcal people together for a BBQ!

I think if you wanna get a decent amount of people to show you would need 2-4 weeks heads up minimum. Maybe even a more neutral spot for the Bay area and Sac folks so no one has to drive 2 hours or so to get there will also help to get a bigger crowd. I think if all of us get together that would be a sick *** meet to network.

where would you guys suggest having a meet? i feel like union city is pretty good neutral location but theres not much to do besides stand around and bs while other people in the area call us ricers. Im trying to get a big meet going, not like the wek fest one because i dont think i have the time to organize something like that but i think it would be great to get all the norcal rx7s together.

I would say Berekeley Pier. But the road to there is very ruff and has alot of pot holes. Not very lowered car friendly.

Let's meet in Pleasanton. At Shadow Cliffs park, or Lake Del Valle. Good place which isn't too far for Sac guys, me, anyone in the bay area or modesto.
