Check out this car. One of our buddys call us and said hey theres this car off the side of the road. We went to check it out. Pics tell the rest.





what you dont see is that there was a sharp corner about 30 feet down road from the car. We happened to kinda know the owner. The car was stolen three hours before we found it and the thief blew the front left tire in that corner pulling him off the road at speed. The car is totaled. The front left is smashed all the way to the strut tower.

Luckily he is part Indian and his grandparents own a casino, and he gets a big check every couple of months. He already has a new car

and umm ya i just found out today that because i didnt take care of a window tint ticket from my OLD rx7 that i now owe a 385 dollar fine or there gonna suspend my license....fucken cali is soooo lame for the BS laws, oh and ya today at work we had 2 fatality vehicles come in from a few wrecks this morning. 2007 jetta which was hit by a semi, wasnt to pretty. =/

 

dammit, my car smelled alittle warm today so i decided to take a look under the hood and figure out whats going on, turns out my water pumps going bad, theres alittle coolant leaking out the weep hole. good thing i caught it now before it totally took a ****. rockauto has pretty reasonable prices so i'll hopefully have one by next weekend. i hope nothing else goes wrong before rotorfest, i still need to install my new inner&outter tie rods this week and get it re-aligned.

on the upside I will have the peace of mind knowing it's something else thats been replaced

man im loosing my mind, its gonna be a year almost now that i havent drivin my car for more than 5 min at a time

 

i'm around but focusing on the 2 engines i have torn apart for rebuilds right now, will have some time for more work in the coming weeks. sorry to those who are trying to reach me as i try to finish off what i'm working on, one of these days i'll put in an answering machine at the shop and actually go through it daily..

yeah it's been dead all week

. i've been busy. heres a few pics of my newly painted water pump housing and coolant neck. and 2 shots of the engine after i cleaned all the gunk off the front cover from a faulty OMP o-ring.


i'm taking the water pump& housing over to a buddies tonite and he's tapping it for a temp sensor.

Hey guys, got an idea for 7stock.

I was talking to my brother, and he recommended that there are campsites in Newport and San Onofre Beachs. Thought I would see what everyone thought about camping at the beach, bbq, beer, and poker friday night.

I could load up the REPU with drift wood from lake oroville for the fires.
