I did about a month ago! Couldn't get a buyer for it locally so decided to just use it in my swap.

tellin 'ya get a buddy with a dealer's license and bond him for a $10k bid on copart($1000 deposit), bet you could score one like this for less than $8k and have it fixed for well under $15k total invested with some elbow grease:

http://www.copart.com/c2/homeSearch....SEARCH_RESULTS

unfortunately this is the only lotus listed at the moment and will be auctioned on the 26th in 2 days. fortunately asshats drive these cars all the time so they pop up now and then in almost that exact condition. (yes i know because i've researched alternatives to working on 7's and sat through a number of live online auctions)

would be salvage title but you buy a car like that to keep it.

putting pennies into a jar to have the machine shop next door modify the 4 rotor shaft then off to balancing. i still haven't decided what chassis it will go into yet though.

would be nice in a bimmer but i just don't know. maybe an FC, but have enough 2 seater cars already.. would be good to have a nice brappy car that i could take the whole family out in. i do already have the E36 vert, hmmmm, but that is our 30 mpg commuter car... i think it would be awesome to roll up to sevenstock in style, without a 7.

Yeah. I saw that one with the busted front clamshell. It would have been CHEAP to repair.

This would be AWESOME.

You wouldn't be the first E36 at 7stock, I swear I see one or two every year.

Man my friend just picked up a Cayman R, that thing is atrociously pretty.

Anyway I don't post much but I'm always on here reading/looking for stuff. Thought I'd finally drop in and say hey. Silver 93'. Currently down in Los Angeles, getting tuned by Yoshi and NeptuneSpeed next Friday I'm pretty stoked.

I live up in SF. I've seen a few of you guys on the city streets here and there, but never thought to check any of the "sighted" threads--they seem a little dead :P

Doh, 088. I'll definitely come by for the next one! I have no Rotary to show since it's stuck in LA right now and I'm in SF with no car, haha. Soon though! I'll roll through with my stock *** looking Track FD.
