Probably a total of 6-8ish fc's in the modesto area that i know of, and I think maybe 2 that are actually on the road. Lol. I'm fairly new to this rotary scene but from what ive seen, kinda sucks here besides a few buddies ive made buying/selling parts. But then again its not always about quantity, its the quality of the fc guys here in modesto, which is pretty good if i may say so myself.

I'm in Modesto, but all I have is an 84 Gsl-se project with an S4 13b. I have owned 3 fc's and an FD before though!

Nice. We might have to set up something and have a BBQ or something. I only work like 15 days a month and get a 7 day stretch of days off every month as well so I have plenty of oppurtunities to meet up. Can say its that easy for my other fellow rotor buddies as they work a bit more than I.

And yes we read the books. The first two are pretty good. The third book goes a little crazy for me.

Sweet I'll talk to the wife and see if she wants to go. She doesn't get off work till 5 so it would probably be around 6 ish before we could get up there.

There are some of us with sevens that we don't drive and some of us that had sevens and no longer do. A few of us have been around for 10 years or so. back in 2003-2008 or so we used to have meets every couple months. I helped coordinate a lot of them along with Nick, Ben, Zach, Nader, Casey, and others. But since I sold my FD I haven't been to a meet. My gsl se will be road worthy someday and when it is I hope to get a good meet together.

I'm considering having a " come and take any parts off of my junk FC meet" I'm sure there are still some good things on it. Although I took the motor/trans out. I've had the car for so long and never got around to parting it out, I should just charge a 5 dollar entry and let people have at it. And when we're done I will sawzall it into pieces. haha

you gotta work on the car to actually finish it Jake!

used the last bit of my money to buy an E36 vert(BMW 3 series early to late 90's, this one is a '95 though), overpaid for it but i couldn't find anything comparable that was in decent condition. it's nice having a 4 seater that gets 35mpg mixed city/highway and drives like a brand new car and looks good all in one package.

the mercedes 300DT turbo diesel is retiring to a new home if anyone is looking for a good car to run on chicken fat(we ran pump though), only has ~380k miles, odometer broke at 299k a number of years ago so it's just getting broken in. rest of the car needs TLC though as the engines run forever but the rest of the car falls apart around them.

was looking to buy an RX8 with the money but guessing the guy got cold feet. a $2k RX8 with a bad motor still was too good to be true.

I know Ben! I put the new door seals in that I bought OVER A YEAR AGO! hahahah

Ready to come back to Nor Cal? :-)

RX8 for 2k even with a bad motor is a good deal, unless the rest of the car is thrashed.
