But Jake, dude... I wanna give you a ride in the LS1 FD... if you think our Z06 was fast... heh, wait till you sit behind the wheel of a built LS1 FD. You know I've driven many fast car,..... nothing comes close to this...
haha I rode in Casey's old LS1 Fd, it was awesome! But his clutch was slipping, i think it still put down over 400 on the dyno though.

You should come down to Modesto and hang out on a saturday and take me for a ride! I'll buy you lunch :-)

So how do there housings look to you guys? There are no cracks around the plugs. No deep scratches. Can even catch a grove with a finger nail.

I'll most likely still be here. I love my area. The only thing that would make me move is if we had some CRAZY Japan style disaster which would force me to move to Brazil or something.

Nah your memory is fine, we dont know each other. haha just thought id throw that comment out there since so many local guys are starting to come out of the woodwork. Ive only been in the rotary game since last november. I dont drive around too much except for work (Gallo Glass) or places closer to my house, so I dont get around town much either. Only seen like 3 other rotaries in town since Ive been on the lookout for them when I got mine. lol

Oh ok, yea I've been around since I was in high school (2003) Haven't had a driveable 7 in 3 or 4 years. I do have a 1st gen project car (long project) though. It runs but it isn't driveable just yet. Always too lazy to work on it but I need to get back into it soon. So I can actually enjoy it.

My last project car i had (75 280z) parked more than i drove it. I had it for almost 2 years and about $3k into it and still couldnt have it in any water cuz of the bad weather seals, bad exhaust, and ton of other stuff. Finally got rid of it for my rx7 and told myself id actually enjoy this car besides throw money into it for it to just sit. Lol i applaud people that can do long term projects, i dont have the patience and like to play with my toys. Haha

That's cool, yea I got the car for free so I really don't have much into it. Maybe $300 bucks or so. Too be honest it's pretty close to being driveable, just have to install the radiator fan and controller. Get a flexible radiator hose. Have a custom cat back made. Get the intake to work with the box or get an intake for it and put it all back together. Paint it, smog it, register it, and I'm done.

So...I'm considering entertaining the idea of selling off my FD in favor of a more practical vehicle...

I have been thinking about going 996 911TT a lot lately. But in the end whatever car I buy next will just be the in between car on my way to a Gallardo. Just need to finish school then within the first year I will have a Lambo.

Thats like the story for everyone nowadays. My reply is always the same, mostly. Sometimes you have to give up the fun things for the right things in life. You can always get another one down the road. It'll still be just as much trouble =P

I'm going to be a nurse. At least for a few years. I will be making around the same money I was making being a contractor but the benefits and working inside and only working three 12's make it a no brainer.

Anyway I'm not going to stop at ASN I'm going to keep going to school to get my BSN and then eventually get my masters to be a nurse anesthetist. Basically the same exact thing as a anesthesiologist. And that pays almost double what a nurse makes.

I've actually had the money to buy a Gallardo twice over the years but instead I bought a house. And have it more than half way paid off now. So next time lambo for sure
