Notice:

Hey everyone, we've been getting a lot of questions about weather so i'll put up an official notice right now, we are gonna wait until thursday afternoon to see what the weather will be like on saturday. The weather report will be a little more accurate and it gives a two days to let people know about rescheduling the meet. Well, the back up plan for right now will be that if the weather isn't cooperating, the meet will be rescheduled for april 15th. Same time. So everyone, please look for the notice on the meet thread and the caravan thread for the notice on thursday afternoon (3 or 4pm). Sorry for all the inconvenience everyone.

Damnit, I doubt I will be able to go if it's on the 15th. I had a hard time asking for the 8th off of work since I asked on such short notice, 2 weeks ahead. The reports call for rain all week, I doubt that will change from the looks of it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed though.

Considering it is supposed to rain some, on every single day for the next 10 days... I think there would be a pretty good chance of their being rain on both the 8th and the 15th.

It calls for Few Showers on Saturday, would it be postponed due to showers or is constant rain needed to postpone the meet?

I'm gonna go with the constant rain, it'll be postponed if its hard/heavy rain. Showers will be alright. I'll be there too sevensix, rain or shine.... Maybe i'll get a tent for the bbq.

For right now, the meets still on so if you want to help out or anything, we're meeting up tomorrow at 6:30pm at union landing in front of krispy kreme. If you want to help, pm me and come by tomorrow!

If you need direction, here are some vague directions, from Oakalnd take 880 south you take alvarado niles exit, make a right on alvarado niles. Go straight and make a right on dyer (on the corner is a UNION LANDING sign and jollibee restaraunt behind it), after making that right, you'll reacha stoplight then take a right into union landing. Go straight and once you hit the intersection where starbucks is, make a right. Then straight ahead will meet at the krispykreme parking area.

For the people from San Jose area, take 880 north, exit alvarado niles then make a left on alvarado niles.

For any other info. Please PM me before 5:30pm. Hope everyone that wants to help can make it.

Well put for those who got days off because of the meet, still come through, we'll visit chucks, see whats up, get some parts and all. I guess i'll put it like this, if its raining, no bbq unless i can find a huge tent or something. But the meet will still be on. If worst comes to worst, we'll take everyone from rotary extreme to great mall (or any other suggestions) where theres a huge parking lot and raid the mall or something (another cracked out idea by me...) But thats only if worst comes to worst. No matter what though, we'll stop by rotary extreme and visit chuck for an hour or so. But lets not let the weather screw us over. Everyone made sacrifices to go to the meet so lets not let those sacrifices be in vain! Wow, im preaching now. But anyways, for those that wouldn't want to be in the rain, hey, i'll be setting up a meet with a group for "sevenstock 2" for summer so we'll all wait till summer. For those that don't care about the rain, lets still meet. I'm looking forward to meeting the rotary community!

EDIT: I think this post is especially relates to everyone in this thread.

Damn... If it rains, then I'mma just wait for the summer one.
Looking at the weather, it really looks like it will rain through out this weekend. Those that are still willing to go, drive safe, and have fun.

Whats up everyone, just got back home from our planning meet and we discussed a lot. Well, we decided that the food will be $5 for each person. We're sure thats a reasonable price. Name tags will be given to those who pay the $5. I hope you all find this fair for the amount of food we'll be getting. Also, we discussed that we'll be having a ps2 that is playable inside the garage area (Gran turismo 4 will be playing). Chuck will be having a blowout sale (already mentioned) and there will be a raffel. I hope everyone will still be able to make it, as mentioned, the new weather report says cloudy. So the meet is still on 100% until further notice!! Also, if you do not wish to pay for food, thats cool too, you're still welcomed to the meet! Thanks everyone.
