Nader, you are no longer allowed to lead the pack anywhere!!!!! It's all good though, everybody got there eventually.

A bunch of us had 2-way radios..

one of the stipulations of caravaning and making sure that everyone stayed together was to have everybvody pick up a set of radios and tune em to channel 7..

radios are a great investment....

Total clusterfuck. Next time I lead...if there is a next time, I'll make sure to coordinate everything prior to the caravan. but I still say that all of us need to invest in a good set of 2-way radios. Herrafass and I went in on a proper set of Motorolas with an up to 10 mile range. Of course, 10 miles isn't really realistic unless you're in the damn Mojave desert and there's no interference, no crazy solar wind storms, no random nuclear device hiding in the ground...heh

So....all you lumps better get radios!

We said it while we lived in Portugal. The locals didn't understand 99.9% of the sayings we used.

yeah i've been trying to bring back the phrase "scum bag" for a while but people don't seem to hang onto it. hahaha

as for caravaning i think someone should just email the same directions to everyone on the caravan thread before the actual meet. and also guys like me need to have some self control and not speed ahead of the group. i missed a perfect opportunity to pee on something at the rest stop cuz i missed the exit, damnit.

OK- for the record-
We had radios
We were going the right way
The last thing we heard was N8R saying "I'm gonna take this Porsche.." and someone telling him to take it easy- Me and the two guys behind me were in the far left lane, trying to see what was happening up there..
Next thing I know everyone was exiting, and all I heard was (static) next exit, turn (static) something.. ---rest area.... something... (dead air)"
No worries, we all made it, and I now have a great knowledge of exits near Great America...

The question is, would you have been able to take the Porsche N8R?

Yeah, then we need to teach Nader not to hold the radio within 1 inch of his mouth when talking on the radio.

"Hey shceheckks shukskpa;ooolld, sheehhhhsklsa, exit shdklldsyttsb okay???"

Ah you know I am just teasing you!
