**This is copied from Zilvia, so if screen names mean nothing to you, that's why. Thanks for coming out, guys!!**
I had a great time, even though it was like a MILLION degrees outside, and I got a little burnt! Everyone who came out, thanks for making it a great event! We were a bit disorganized on the food/utensil situation, but I'll remember that for next time so we can get it on lock.
I'm glad there was minimal "flexing" when everyone was leaving! Revs were kept down, and nobody related to the meet made a scene about leaving. Drama free meets are always more fun. Again, thanks for coming out and it was great to meet you guys! I'm gonna look into getting stickers/shirts made for future meets.
So this is the first set of pictures I uploaded, and only a few from the lot. There were WAY more people/cars than I thought there would be. I think it's a safe guess to say close to 40 cars at the biggest part during the day?
Long Shot
Xerox's turbo Maxima:
Datsun 510 Power!
VIP and RicerJ
Jonny Fraz and MrFuel
DriftSub and SunnyS14
Kouki Patrol and Ole Corolla
Clean FC and a few S13's - check out how many parking spaces are OURS!!
That one drunk chick's S13
Overflow parking on the street

Gotcha, I guess I'm just not a RX-7 guy. =(
I'm just gonna say, based on where the coolant was dripping, I'll assume it's the overflow tank spitting out what it can't carry. No worries!

It was a lot of fun, if I do say so myself! There were a lot of people there, it was BEAUTIFUL out, everybody seemed to have washed their cars within a day of the meet, so pictures turned out well. There was ZERO drama, and nearly ZERO "horseplay" with revving. No burnouts or squeely tires, which meant no cop issues, and the other people at the park didn't mind us being there (except that we DOMINATED the parking lot!).
Another meet like this is already in the works, and I'll post a thread on here personally. The next venue will be scoped out a bit better for more shade, and more parking.
My brother posted an album of the pictures he took at the meet. If you want a full sized shot, he took full resolution pictures with his Canon DSLR, you can email him at phil@fbirides.com

There's not definite date on the next meet yet, but planning is already in the works. I cruised out to check out a few different places today, and Kait and I are talking it over before we start planning for a date.
Shade is high on the priority list! Parking setup is up there as well, and one thing we learned from this meet is that the HOSTS will be bringing some of the more vital items (burgers/dogs/plate/utensils/condiments) and we'll let everyone else fill in from there. That way, we're guaranteed food and things to eat said food WITH!
If you're looking for breaking news on this, please read up on the meet thread on the Zilvia forums (LINK TO MY THREAD HERE!), as that's where most of my attention is typically focused (though I have been checking this thread about once a night!!). What details I DO have for you guys will be posted there first and follow to the other forums.
Cliff Notes:
Date is not set
Theme is not set
Venue is not set
There WILL be another meet hosted by Kait and I in the near future
The next meet will NOT be a cruise
The next meet will NOT be at a lake
We DID learn things from this last meet, and the next one should be slightly more organized
I DID get burnt like the rest of you
Yes, somebody DID expect me not to get burnt, which is why I posted this... I'm not Superman, I'm sorry..
