Norcal, BayArea Dyno Tuning Help!

I was wondering does anyone know of any shops near San Francisco that can do a dyno tune on my 87' TII w/ MegaSquirt. The only shop I've came across is BlackTrax from San Jose, but they didn't seem to familiar with rotaries. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The only thing you can really do is to wait till we have enough people in the Bay to have Steve Kan tune. Unfortunately, it seems that people are not interested in the current forming session anymore.

They do, but they don't seem to be too familiar with rotaries either. Yea I'm on that list for steven kan too... Its a shame everyone is lagging. I admit I didn't send my deposit yet, but I don't see the point in doing so when more than half the people on the list is unresponsive.

I think most people would try to steer you away from SR Motorsports. I've heard they just slap a map on your PFC and call it a day. They also sell Koyo radiators rebranded with SR Motorsports and then jack up the price.

But if you want to be sure to get the best, there's a Steve Kan tuning thread already and Chris has gotten back on top of it. If you're interested, make a deposit. As soon as we have the minimum, Chris will set a date with Steve and he will fly out.

Call Red Zone in San Jose they dyno tune and are quite reputable with the Honda's, I'm just not sure how their rotary skills are. Call and ask them they are cool as hell over there, if they can't do it they might be able to steer you in the direction of someone who can

I'm already on that list, but a bit hesitant to put in down payment. Purely on the fact that Chris has not told me if Steven can tune megasquirts. And partially because, seems to be that 0chris has been busy lately, and does seem to care much for the thread.

Yea I guess he has been a bit busy, but I'm more than willing to help with the communication. I've bugged him about it and he's helping to push the thread along again. The last tune session he organized with Steve was flawless.

I'll ask about the megasquirt for you.
