I have yet to talk to Junpower about this but it seems to me that each area should have a small meet (south bay, east bay, etc. etc.) and once a month (or at least once every 3 months) all of the NorCal subsections should meet for a huge BBQ/track meet/swap meet.

Here is the South BAY link:
http://barotary.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=1713

The other areas should be up soon.

Post here or there. It's better THERE because it will be all the LOCAL ppl. Any input is great.

battery. a few days ago i had a problem with the negative battery cable. Tightened it, car ran like a champ. 3 days later tried to start, nothing.
slow cranking. Sounds like the battery / starter issues.

Didnt have time to diagnose it yesterday (Too much dang Orangebox). But i'll try to get on it tonight.

I was going to check the interlock switch, starter connections and so on.

FD from sacto.

I don't mind driving down to the bay since I can stay at my old roommates place after the meet, so TI would be cool.

Treasure Island is good for a meet.

Me and the MR2 guys have our annual meets there sometimes. 90-100 MR2's show up.

There were no cops on treasure island for the last big rotary meet. That place really is beautiful too.

Ocean beach is a cool spot, but I agree. There's a ton of cops around there, and they're kinda bored/angry.

Ok treasure island might be a bad place to meet since getting back on the bay bridge could be a little hectic for some people. How about meeting in Emeryville Expo center right across from the Best Buy.
They have a large parking lot that is never busy with plenty of room for our cars.

This meet might be in Jan.12th around 3 PM.
Get everyone together make new friends and show off your rides.
Let's plan on a east bay mountian cruise.
I will hold the cruising locations private untill the day of the meet but it's about 25+ miles of mt roads. There will be "NO RACING ON PUBLIC STREETS" possibly a little spirited driving but nothing serious.
I do not want anybody trying to show off and fly off the mountian.
Also we will not put up with *** holes or **** starters.

Then we can head down to krispy kreme in Union City to meet with the east bay guys around 9pm where they have been holding the easy bay rotary meets.I am gonna stuff my face with half a dozen glazed with sprinkles!

What happened in Daly City?
I know I used to live out there and don;t like meeting there at all.
Keep it in SF and Oakland and we should be fine. Oh I do know a Daly City officer personally =)
