SWEET Way to be HARDCORE.
Maybe i'll bring the TAHOE, we can turn this into a SUV meet. hahahahaha!!!!!!!!
Thanks guys. Really hoping we can have a good turnout. My friend tried calling the Mercury News to come out but doubt it will happen. I'm contacting Milpitas Post and SJ state paper will be here.
I just want to document a 50 to 60+ MAZDA MEET in NORCAL. Maybe we can start during summertime a NORCAL MAZDAFEST. I been giving this a lot of thought lately. I know i can get guest speakers for the summertime with my connections at Mazda R&D, Rotarynews, etc... Get some Models or something, **** i don't know. Let's just put NORCAL on the MAZDA MAP.
Peace, Rishie

I might have to work, but I'll try to roll up, jason, are you hitting up the marina event? I'm planning on going down there Sunday, I saw you at the last SCCA events, but didn't get a chance to say hi...

Its pretty lame right now- I run Volk Av5s for raod racing with A048 tires, CCWs w/ 710s for autoX and stock FD wheels for the street. Im probably getting those cheap mesh wheels from the GB for the street. I have a few 18" tires laying around.
Cliffnotes - Im on stock wheels

Just wanted to let you know that the meet is definitely still on for tomorrow. If it rains we will probably be chilling inside, so bring a foldable chair to sit on. Rishie is going to try to have a raffle, and give away some really cool items. Also since it will more than likely be raining, we won't be having a BBQ. We will more than likely order some pizza or something, and have everyone pitch in. Ok, see you all tomorrow!

Thanks guys for coming out. I grabbed some pics and will upload them. I didn't get pics until later and people had already left. We had an amazing turnout. I'd say there were over 70 Mazdas there in total by the end of the day.
At one given point I believe about 65 were there at one point in time. From the pics, I havn't looked yet, but you can see that the community came together and we had:
RX8
FD
FC
SA22's
Miata NA6, NA8, NB,
Mazdaspeed Miata's
First gen protege and MX6
Second gen MX6
Protege5's
Mazda3
Mazda6
Mazdaspeed6
It was phenomenal. Thanks to Moostafa and dluxx as I believe they took the initiative and truly organized this event. It is amazing what they accomplished. We simply provided the venue on a Saturday, I'm always there anyway. lolz.
I did perform some very special prayers to the weather gods on friday night and they obliged by blessing us with sunny skies and good temps for the whole meet. It was sincerely a miracle. Had we expected the weather to turn out the BBQ would have been put to use.
I think the next one will be even better. Without much effort the communities pulled together and had an awesome attendance. I know at least 30-40 more Mazdas that are missing. Very few fc's, fd's, and sa's came out. I'm sure with proper organization we can have our own NORCAL MAZDAFEST. Get some IT guys together, bigger company sponsors larger venue and we can have a festival. Try and get some guest speakers chosen by the people and for the people. hehe.
Ok enjoy your sunday,
Rishie
THanks again peoples.
